(Hang on. I've got one. It's yours.) Save the hourglasses...
What I've been doing is I open specific themed booster packs until I get to the point where I consistently open packs and receive only duplicates or maybe just one new card out of 3 packs. At that point, I cut my losses, and start working a new themed booster pack.
Eventually, I'll go back to finish off the incomplete dex, by wishlisting what I need and hoping for trades / shares, or looking through the TCGP Forum section.... warning... That sections gives me a headache (lol).
I've never used packpoints, but have heard they help when all else fails.
Short answer: If it was me, I'd save for the new release OR work on a theme that is less than 50% completed (that's when I usually have better luck with unregistered cards).
And honestly? I usually do not have good luck with the open-ten-packs-at-the-same-time thing. I like to open packs individually and circle around unill i notice something about the outside of the pack... Mewtwo, thinks that it doesn't matter which one I choose to open because of the way they generate the cards. That it's just to make me feel like I'm choosing.... Hmmmmm.....

Happy dancing
I was debating which froakie to give... The one you received flops dmg for 10, whereas the other one I have does a flop attk dmg of 20. I went with the 10 because it uses one of any type of energy, which seemed like how you were building out your possible decks. The froakie with the 20 attk, has to use one water energy. The way I play is to not put Froakie in the active spot, but sometimes that's unavoidable especially when it's your only basic card available in your initial hand.
I can still share the other froakie sometime if you'd like?
