Hee, hee,

I want to remind people that in Unite, even though they really didn't advertise much in the Pokemon Day Presents thing.... they actually did a bunch for trainers in game. New stadiums, new & returning limited time battles (i.e. the 30 years of Pokemon Panic Parade, Full Fury at Mer, added this past week the Electrode Volleyball challenge, and a reformatted Solo Challenge journey), along with controversial changes (including not allowing in match selection of moves/attacks, in lobby stadium selection issues, single move paths for new Pokemon going forward), some not so controversial changes like now allowing us to go beyond trainer level 50 and applying it retroactively for those of us who had previously earned the required battle points (like me), and of course the usual cycle of nerfs and buffs for various Pokemon.

Trainers also had a chance to unlock four free licenses just for logging in daily. If you already had any of the licenses, they exchanged it for 1,000 tickets each. Also a free Pikachu 30 emblem sticker (currently on my profile) to celebrate the thirty years.

The only thing they advertised for Unite during the presentation/stream, being the legendary birds and gen 2 starters, has already started with Zapdos (I've already earned it for free by completing daily missions) and Moltres are now available.

I'm sure I'm forgetting other things that occurred or are occuring for the thirty days of Pokemon.... you all could check it out yourselves and play a few rounds or start on the solo challenges. (I think there are only 10 days left on the Commemorative solo challenge and awards... Eek, I need to do that to!)

So basically, beyond being a total advertisement for Unite right now (LOL), I guess I was just trying to say that there was more to the Pokemon 30 Anniversary than was announced in the presentation.

Oh, and TCG Pocket did it's own thing as well beyond what was advertised. They were like gifts to the Pokemon community in celebration and perhaps other games did more as well.
