Pokemon, The High School Life: Part 5

The new group are eating lunch together, Charz checked his lunch and saw he got a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that was maybe a few days old.
“Hey, would anyone be willing to share some of their lunch with me?” Charz says
“You asked me that last time Charz and you took nearly half my meal, not today” Vee says as she takes the first bite.
“Yeah sorry a girl like me needs a full meal” Gwen says.
“Sorry but my parents just gave me enough lunch money for myself” Aquaria says.
“Hey new best friend, why don’t you have some of my meal?” came a voice next to Charz.
“Oh man that would be GREAT….” says Charz as he looked to his left to see someone who he has never met before “….who are you?”
The entire friend group took at look at the new guy, a Quagsire with a smile bigger than his face.
“Oh…. I didn’t even introduce myself” saying his words slowly “Well my name is Mitchel J. Sire, but everyone calls me Sire…. This is my new best friend Charz!” Sire says with glee.
“….Nice to meet you Sire” says Charz with some concern “Wait I have never seen you before are you new or something?”
“Well…. Before I came here my Mom and Dad taught me at home and told me that I should go to school to meet all sorts of nice and friendly people to be friends with, I never had any friends before, well except this blue rock who was my BEST FRIEND, his name was Mr. Teacup, until I accidentally ate him and it made me glow and made me become MUCH BIGGER and gave me new superpowers!” Sire says with a heavy intensity.
“That’s called evolution. You ate a water stone and it made you evolve early.” replies Gwen.
“Hmmm…. No I am pretty sure I got superpowers, I will miss you Mr. Teacup.” Sire thinks a bit “Hey, are you also Charz’s best friends too!”
The gang didn’t mutter a word, they played as if they barely know Charz at that exact moment.
“Are we playing the silent game?” Sire whispers.
Three seconds pass.
“I am TERRIBLE at the silent game!” Sire yelled.
And with that the bell rung, it is time for the next class.
…
Charz, Vee, and Aquaria are at Charz house trying to figure out what game to play. The time is about 7:30 and Charz is searching through his library for something to kill the time.
“Hmm… what about Melee?” Charz asked.
“We played that last time, also no offense but you’re a sweat on that game.” Says Vee.
“Alright, hey Aquaria why don’t you come and choose?”
“Are you sure, I don’t play too many Video games. Most I play is Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.” Aquaria said with some concern for her game choices.
“Nah come, it’ll be fine. I’ll even help you pick a game, I got pretty good taste!” Says Charz with a wide grin, reaching for his sunglasses.
Vee scoffed “Seriously Charz, all you play is Smash Bros., Halo, and Mass Effect. I am better off choosing a game.”
“You just can’t handle my swag, also I play more than those two. For the record yesterday I beat Night in the Woods!”
“And how was that?” Says Vee curiously.
“It was pretty bad…” Charz said “Could’ve used that money to buy something else….”
Aquaria took a game from the library and is showing it to the two “I want to play this if you don’t mind. Charz seems to think it’s fun and I wanna see what he means.”
Vee looked and her expression immediately soured, while Charz got a wide grin.
“That’s my girl! A game fit for Kings and Queens, Halo 2!” Charz said with excitement.
“You seem to like it, might as well try it out, if you don’t mind Vee.” says Aquaria with some nervousness.
“Alright, we will show you Halo 2, just be warned that Charz is very good at it.” says Vee.
“Hey, I’ll go easy on you two.” says Charz with a grin that can barely fool a child.
“You NEVER go easy on anyone, last time you had your younger cousins over you wiped the floor with them!” Vee says with a heavy emphasis on ‘never’.
“Not my fault they didn’t know how to play properly.” says Char
“They were 7 years old.” says Vee with some stress.
“Not my problem.” Charz says with a wide smile while putting his sunglasses and making finger guns.
Charz laughs for a good while while Vee sighs and then booted up the game.
In the first match Aquaria tried to figure out the controls and Charz decided to hang back in this match and pick off the winner of the fights. Oddly enough Aquaria was the winner of the fights. Three matches later Aquaria was doing better than Vee, and of course Charz is winning each game so far. Hours pass and it is closer to 2 AM, Charz is setting up the final match.
“We’re doing Rockets on Midship, best map and gamemode!” Charz says to pump himself up.
“Of course, Rockets. Ending things with a bang, huh?” says Vee.
“You read my mind!” Charz exclaims.
And the match booted up, Vee went in without much expectations, Charz was in the groove, but Aquaria found a match made in heaven. Aquaria was in the groove, making cross-map hits and on par with Charz. Charz was locking in, he is the all time Champ of Midship and will not be ursurped so easily.
The score is 24-24-3 Charz-Aquaria-Vee, the game could go either way.
“I’m gonna find you Aquaria!” says Charz with a malicious intent.
“You will find my rocket instead!” says Aquaria with confidence.
“Will I?” Charz said.
And with that Charz lobbed a sticky grenade and hit Aquaria with grace, winning the game.
“Man that was a tight game, you never told me you are a wizard with rockets!” says Charz with genuine praise.
“I didn’t even know I was that good, this is my first time playing ever.” says Aquaria.
“Well now we gotta play again, well not now it’s almost 2:30 in the morning. You two do a 1v1 for the couch, whoever loses get the air matress.” Charz says while heading to get some blankets and the air matress.
And with that the night passes, with Aquaria sleeping comfortably on the couch.
