What do you desire from Pokémon but know won't happen?

I like 3D but I hate massive open worlds like BotW’s. Ironically my favorite big open world was Frontier’s because at least with Sonic I could speed across all the boring blank fields.

Z-A could last me ages with all those side quests, but I’d rather have had that time spent on the main game… like explaining Rouge Megas and digging deeper into the Wild Zone problem…

More traits of the Gen 1 games. Stall and aggressive styles interweaving. More fun world building like open world and story like Arven's. But also a game that has more to explore and time to spend in game.
Edit: by traits of the Gen 1 games I mean the best things like all new pokemon. Also Gen 1 traits as an entire package were great for the time and for another game to do that it would need to be slightly off kilter. Scarlet and Violet had great impact so let's do it again!

same with the dlc. I dont do grinding I realy only want to play for fun instead of wasting precious time going into portals. It is way less grinding after the new dark mega(spoiler) because the roge mega wormholes come and give 10,000 reaserch points.

Man...
You used to be the most positive person I know and now sound a lot like the negatives
What happened to you?
I, personally, still believe there is a chance
Everyone days they don't care about their creations anymore and I don't think that's true
I believe they are trying
They ate trying things that are different from how they used to do it
No villain (which sucks), friendly rival, open world
They are breaking away from the things they used to do to create new experiences
I think this is great!
However, I will say they should listen to their fans more
It's good to expand out of their usual but at least include certain things that are desired from the community
(And please nobody say "they don't care about us because they get money." I'm sick and tired of hearing that)

I was exaggerating when I said they don't care, because they have technically shown that they do care. People have been asking for open worlds and real-time battles for a while, and Pokémon has been implementing things they think people would like. I just think they're doing some of those things the wrong way and focusing on the wrong things (especially gameplay-wise. I miss Pokémon-Amie and Mantine Surfing and Wormhole rides and Pokéstar Studios and the Pokéathlon and all the other minigames. Every game used to introduce at least one thing, but we haven't had a new fun-focused feature since SwSh's Pokémon camp). Also, sorry about being negative, I've kept forgetting to comment on most posts while only remembering to voice my complaints with things (it doesn't help that I'm already normally quiet and keep getting more tired). I probably should try to do that less.
