A Link Between Worlds is basically a carbon copy of a Link to the Past but instead of finding your needed Dungeon item inside the Dungeon, your alternate counterpart in Ravio rents or sells the items outright to you ahead of time. This can be good in the sense you can go get Heart Pieces and other things ahead of time but is also bad because part of the point of the dungeon was the dungeon item itself. Echoes of Wisdom sort of brought that back with Sword Fighter form + Bow + Bombs but realistically there’s no Dungeon items in that game either. Your Echoes and “Accessories” that you find are effectively your items and they can be found anywhere, including the Dungeons(Frog Ring is arguably the best one in Hyrule Castle).
BotW takes 100+ Hours if you want to 100% the game by doing all the Shrines(for Heart Containers + Stamina Wheel) and Koroks(which doesn’t yield you anything but is for the OCD completionist). If you stick to strictly story, you can probably finish BotW in about 10 hours, maybe less. All depends on how quick you can finish 4 Dungeons and awaken the four sages, grab the Master Sword and defeat Ganon. TotK added a new layer to this by adding the Sky and Depths. Shrines are sometimes in the Sky while the Depths has various treasures that can only be found down there. Have to travel down there anyway for one of the Dungeons and for rematches against the Dungeon Bosses that yield specific items.

You could but I’m talking about doing the main story as intended. Beating the four Dungeons/Beasts in BotW or doing the five Dungeons in TotK to awaken the five sages. If you rush Ganon, you can beat the game in about an hour or less.

I’m not predicting Twilight Princess port but if they can do Skyward Sword, they can do Twilight Princess as well. Plus it came out in 2006 so it’d be the 20th anniversary of it.

they already did a twilight princess port to the wii u with wind waker why not just port it again to the switch
