I don't shiny hunt. In fact I've caught a whopping four in totality and purely by luck. Two on SV(Alolan Vulpix being one of them and I didn't know until after the fact along with a Vespiquen) and two on Z-A(Spinarak + Mareep) and all w/o the Shiny Charm. All I have left for Trade Evolutions are Machamp, Gengar and Slowking and purely for Dex purposes. I know that if I ever get the DLC, I'd have to do Porygon(twice), Kelavor and Milotic(Prism Scale). Catching a Feebas on SV was a royal pain unless you knew where to go looking. Probably much easier on Z-A though. I'm in no rush to evolve mine but if anyone offers, I'd be open to it.

That might be due to the fact that I don't have Z-A DLC. If I did, then it would have worked. So that's kind of the only instance where it's my bad because I didn't want to pony up the $$$ for a DLC that really isn't all that appealing to me. I may ultimately get it but not for full price, particularly when I shelled out $35 for SV's DLC(and $60 for Scarlet) despite it being out for several years already.
So if you want Shiny Kleavor, you'll need someone with the DLC to do it or I have to find a reason to buy the DLC(and right now I just don't have one).

Turns out Kleavor is not a trade evo and just a normal evo unlike Scizor o_o Also, if you want any DLC Pokémon or items, I'll be willing to trade them to you. I honestly wish the dlc was just part of the main game (or cheaper), I only was willing to pay the price because I really wanted Sirfetch'd and other new Pokemon.

Trades involving DLC Pokémon, afaik, won't work if the recipient doesn't have it. The main reason I shelled out $$$ for Teal Mask + Indigo Disk is because the latter had my favorite Pokémon(Alolan Vulpix) so I felt compelled to get it. Since Z-A doesn't have it(because it doesn't Mega Evolve), I feel no compulsion to grab it. Also, yeah Kleavor is basically like a stone evolution, ditto Galarian Slowpoke(which you can only obtain more of in the DLC so if you wanted both evolved forms, you'd have to buy the DLC for it or convince someone to trade you one). Scyther was a royal pain to find in the base game as it was one of the last catches I had(Skarmory was another). I'm not even close to getting the Shiny Charm either because that requires finishing Mabel's research and I'm at like level 41(tells you how much I have left to go lol).
