Please, Pokémon... Give us a real villain!

Ahem. Allow me.
Volo was impressive, I won't lie. He was a bad guy that truly snuck up on me.Rose I'm going to flat-out say, is surprisingly more realistic than most other villains in Pokémon. Let's look- His real goal is gaining power and money, not ending the world or replacing it or anything. He tried to do what would be best for himself and claimed it was for the good of Galar. I feel like this should have been pushed more, but it is still an E rated series.
S/V: There was in fact a villain! The Prof! They made the Time Machine, neglected their son, generally? They caused the problem you're dealing with! But it was for the sake of their work. They loved their work so much they ignored their son, ignored the real world, and when the time came for them to pass on they made a AI to keep doing their work.
And now Kieran-
He was never the real villain. He's a kid who's never had what we had. He turned hostile, sure, but that stemmed from just wanting to beat us. He might be looking at the world wrong, he might even be hostile and could be classified as a 'bad guy'. But two things: He's not evil. And the other? We're the ones who made him like that. And now Z-A. Corbeau was VERY CLEARLY set up to act evil, then twist it on you! I saw this coming miles away! He really just wants what Quartisico wants- a clean, good city. He just doesn't have the same means to do it, so he resorts to doing it through whatever means he needs- sound familiar? cough Lysandre cough. To a smaller level, to be fair, but it is still using what he needs. He may look through the world in a different lenses than us, but he wants a similar thing to us. Actually, I thought Q Inc were going to be the villains. Why were the telling a small group of kids to deal with these Rogue Megas instead of dealing with it themselves? (To not draw attention to their screwups!) Why is Zygarde here in Lumiose? (Wild Zones aren't perfected, and it's messing up the ecosystem!) Why are they telling us to make sure the city does not know about these Rogue Megas? (They're covering it up!) I was disappointed when they were never blamed for anything, when it was them. The tower going cray-cray is LITERALLY THEIR FAULT, THEY WOKE IT UP WITH THEIR RECONSTRUCTION BEESWAX (Even if Ange IS AZ's creation). I actually like Corbeau- it's very nice to see Pokémon introducing a character who sees the world through a more pessimistic lens for once.
There you have it.

Are you kidding? Bede got WORSE after the Fairy Gym Leader!

I think villain teams are gone. Q Inc had great potential, but no, of course not. I'm disappointed, honestly.

I just noticed that palfin is a super hero and scovillian is a villan.

i thing a pokemon and digimon crossover might solve that issue cause parallelmon could be a good villain for the crossover as he can connect the 2 worlds via a akashic backdoor

I like Cobeau because he humors me
But he still disappointed me
Also, yes
Q Inc was obviously the perfect villain
Pokémon really missed that opportunity
Anyways, on to the Professors, I don't think they were a villain
The A.I only feels what they feel (that's what I understood, anyways)
So when it told Arven the whole "I love you" thing (it's been a while since I saw it so I don't remember specifics) I thought, in a way, that was coming from the real Professors

On the topic of Quasartico, I think sometimes a predictable but good story is better than a nonsensical move that exists to surprise the player and hinders the story. Whatever theme they were trying to convey with there being no real villain (which I'm guessing was only thought of to make everyone trying to guess who the villain is wrong, judging by how poorly executed it felt), the lack of a villain while saying nothing about all the in-world problems in the game like the Wild Zones and whatever Jacinthe and Corbeau are doing made the story feel heavily unsatisfying. If it's about how you can't change bad things in real life, then they could have made that a part of the story or made someone in the main cast address that so it feels like it's an actual thing and not a forgotten detail or afterthought of a poorly thought out story.
