Alola Story Part Three!

The sun was super hot over Poni Island and all the Pidgeys were singing their little hearts out. Izzy was checking her Pokedex GPS to find her way to her trial when everything went totally quiet. Then, she heard this tiny, pained whimper from the bushes. She pushed the leaves aside and gasped—it was a female Eevee! She looked like she had been attacked by a huge Pokemon. She couldn't even stand up and her back leg was really hurt.

"Oh no! Hang on, little one!" Izzy said. She knew Eevee wouldn't make it alone, so she ran to an Oran Berry bush, grabbed a berry, and fed it to her. Eevee opened her eyes just a tiny bit, whispered "eevee..." really quietly, and went back to sleep.

Izzy scooped her up and started sprinting! The Pokemon Center was a whole mile away and her lungs were burning, but she didn't stop. When she finally got there, the line was huge! Everyone was just there for tiny scratches, but this was an emergency! Izzy let out Rowlet and told him to go crazy. Rowlet hooted and flew all over the place until everyone stopped talking and looked.

"HELP THIS EEVEE!!" Izzy yelled.

Nurse Joy saw how bad it was and ran over with a stretcher. They rushed Eevee into the emergency room and Izzy just sat there staring at the red light for hours. She was so worried. Finally, the light turned off and Nurse Joy said she could go in. Eevee was all patched up and resting on a tiny bed. When she saw Izzy, she tried to walk but fell over. Izzy rushed over to catch her. Izzy started crying because she was just so happy Eevee was okay. Eevee nuzzled her hand to try and make her feel better. Izzy held out a Pokeball and Eevee tapped it with her nose. Izzy stayed the night in the Center, and the next morning Eevee was awake and ready! Izzy put her in her ball to keep her safe and headed to her trial.

She finally got to the cave to meet Gwen, the Trial Captain. Gwen was only 4'11" and had this awesome, giant Dragonite hoodie on. She was bouncing around like she had way too much sugar! "Whoa! A challenger!" Gwen chirped. "I’m Gwen! Welcome to the Symphony of Scales! Can you hear the humming? My trial isn't just a fight, it's a song! You gotta have rhythm! Let’s see if your spirit can shake these crystals!"

Gwen hit a crystal and it went DING! "Hakamo-o! Noibat! Let’s go!" Izzy sent out Rowlet and Goomy. "Noibat, use Supersonic!" Gwen yelled, spinning around. The noise was bouncing everywhere! "Goomy, use Bubble!" Izzy yelled back. Bubbles covered the floor and made the noise stop bouncing, plus the ground got super slippery.

"Now, Hakamo-o, drop the bass!! Dragon claw" Gwen pointed. Hakamo-o slammed into Rowlet and sent him flying! "Rowlet, no!" Izzy screamed. Gwen was jumping around. "The song is just starting! Stand tall! Hakamo-o, get faster! Go, go, go!" Rowlet was getting beat up and he looked so weak. "Rowlet, I know you can do it!"

Gwen’s eyes lit up. "Wait... do you hear that? The remix is coming!" Suddenly, Rowlet started glowing super bright white! He grew bigger and his feathers turned into sharp blades. Rowlet evolved into Dartrix! He even flicked a feather back like he was a model or something.

"Whoa! Evolving mid-song is so cool!" Gwen cheered. "But here comes the finale! Noibat, Air Cutter! Hakamo-o, let's finish this!"

"Dartrix, use Razor Leaf! Goomy, use dragon Breath!" Dartrix threw a bunch of sharp feathers and Goomy shot a giant purple beam. They hit both of Gwen's Pokemon at the same time and Izzy won! "Bravo!" Gwen said, giving Izzy the Dragonium Z.
"Keep that rhythm going, Izzy!" Izzy said no to dinner and walked all the way to Maluna City.

Inside the Maluna City Pokemon Center, she saw Thur with his new Umbreon. Eevee came out of her ball to try and show off too, even though she was still weak. Thur just laughed at her. "I bet you couldn't even evolve a Weedle."

"I could too!" Izzy yelled. Then Dartrix and Goomy came out. "Look! My Rowlet evolved! This is Dartrix!" Izzy said, feeling proud.

"Big deal," Thur said and walked away. Suddenly, the doors flew open and these two teens with white and blue hair fell over their own feet. They jumped up and shouted: " I'm Donnie!" "It's Towner!" "WE'RE TEAM APEX!"

Izzy started laughing because they were so clumsy, but then they started stealing everyone's Pokemon with nets! A trainer tried to call the police, but Towner grabbed their phone and CRUNCH! He crushed it with his boot! "Stop it!" Izzy yelled. "Dartrix, use Leafage!" It hit Donnie right in the face.

"Who did this?!" Donnie screamed. She brought out the Ultra Beast Blacephalon. "Use Shadow Ball!" Dartrix barely dodged the explosion! Izzy sent out Goomy. "Goomy, use Bubble! Dartrix, use Leafage!!" The floor turned into a giant slip-and-slide. Donnie whispered to Towner, "Get that girl's ball!" Towner’s Lycanroc used Quick Attack and stole Eevee’s Pokeball!

"GIVE IT BACK!" Izzy screamed. She started crying again because she was so scared for Eevee. "An injured Eevee is in there!"

"Too bad!" Donnie laughed. "We're gonna turn it into a monster!"

Izzy got so mad. "Dartrix, use Razor Leaf on Team Apex!" Dartrix threw a circle of sharp feathers that hit the villains. Towner slipped on the bubbles, fell on his face, and Eevee’s ball flew into the air! Just then, Officer Jenny burst in because Nurse Joy had called. She saved all the Pokemon and arrested Team Apex. Izzy caught Eevee's ball and hugged it tight. After all that craziness, she stayed at the Pokemon Center that night and finally got some sleep because her team was safe.
