    I remember one!

    I found a random Shiny Magikarp in Violet

    It is now Gyrados

    I also spent an hour Shiny Hunting Charcadet in Violet (I got it, too)

    That is now Ceruledge

    I had a somewhat similar highlight haha. While playing scarlet, I found my first shiny in a base game, and it was a Luxio. One of my favorite little guys as the first shiny was a super lucky turn of events in my opinion.

    GOT Z-A like how has this not already been mentioned.
    Laughed my head off at Z-A.
    Wondered why I'm actually fine with Taunie dragging me all over the city alone.
    Caught a random shiny Voltorb RIGHT AFTER I'd just given up shiny hunting and all my shiny sandwich buffs were gone in Violet.
    Friend borrowed Sword and he loved it!

    Probably Pokémon Legends Z-A being released, one of my favorite plays of all year. Also got a shiny Charizard in Sword earlier this year.

    im starting to dip my toe back into competitive play. Getting some collection. But I am procrastinating by starting a new Sword playthrough. I still need Terapagos and Pecharunt

    My highlight is probably the Bandai Pokemon figure collection I have been building up, they are cool.

    Legends Z-A would have been a highlight if it was actually a good game.

    I definitely think that's a high light

    That and finishing my Malamar story

    I usually don't finish my works of writing, so that was a huge accomplishment for me

    20 boxes of shinies, za, shiny zamazenta, alright year. I'm exited for next year. Its gonna have go tour kalos, and according to my theory, paldea will be themed in go fest. And gen 10 will be cool
