Grinding Evolutions right now and I’ve come to find that Unova sucks in one blatant detail: Their Pokémon evolve way too late. Hydreigon gets a slight pass for being the pseudo Dragon but level 64? Dragonite and other Pseudos are done earlier than that. The biggest crimes are Pawniard(level 52), Rufflet(54) and Larvesta(Level 59). The grinds are unreal and I haven’t even started on Larvesta yet because I’m doing Tyranitar right now at a more reasonable level 55(nearly done). Granted the reward is oh so worth it with Quiver Dance and Fiery Dance on Volcarona that with an Oricorio partner is straight up nuts but still… level 59 for a 550 BST Pokémon? I got a good 10+ Evolutions done this afternoon despite the grind. Have to halt using Gallade though since at level 65, he’s a few levels above Geeta’s Ace. I know that Vullaby is in the Kitakami Dex but at least you’ll have it at a higher level for it to evolve almost immediately. Once I finish the Unova grind, I won’t have that much left to do other than Stone and Trade Evolutions before slashing my way into Area Zero. Might go hunting for Glimmet now that I think about it
@Hades0918 Trade is tomorrow at 02:30am UTC. Should be back in time from Religious services. Got a Ralts and a Growlithe to hand you for the two Blueberry acquisitions. Have to catch more Trade pieces for Violet exclusives so that will go down another time.

@Hades0918 How about we try to trade on Sunday December 21st at 02:30 UTC, which would be Saturday in the evening for those with UTC of -5 to -8. So for UTC -8, that would be 18:30 or 6:30pm. Let me know if that won’t work. I’d like to trade for Alolan Vulpix, Drilbur and, if possible, some Violet exclusives or specifically Gulpin, Bagon, Ceruledge, Misdreavus, Dreepy, Passimian, Eiscue, Clauncher, Iron Treads, Iron Bundle, Iron Hands, Iron Jungulis, Iron Moth, Iron Thorns, Iron Valiant and Miraidon. I’d also like to trade for the other starters in Sprigatito and Quaxly along with Trade Evolutions in Scizor and Slowking. I’d also like to do a quick Union Circle for Palafin or I can trade for it.

Campaign Update: So, a lot of grinding and Evolution work went down, and I owe many thanks to the Ham Sandwich. Not a literal Ham Sandwich mind you but the Picnic + Ham Sandwich combo. Never seen so many Chansey + Blissey, I ran out of PP several times over. An unfortunate consequence of all this grinding is that Gallade is officially relegated to the post-game and in emergency situations only as he’s now level 76 with his Scope Lens yielding 50% Crits on Aqua Cutter, Night Slash and Psycho Cut respectively. Outside of redoing his EV’s, Nature and eventually perfecting his IV’s, he’s pretty much “done”. Overall, I have like 352 of the 400 complete. The only evolutions I have left are Skuntank(saving it for the Gyms and Team Star), Stone Evolutions(Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Eelektross, Bellibolt, Magneton, Crabominable, Cetitan, Mismagius and Lilligant), Item Evolutions(that may include a Trade or Weavile, Slowking and Scizor), Violet Exclusives(mentioned in post above), Palafin, and the other starters. There's also the Treasures of Ruin but I can catch those when the time comes. Much of those Evolutions I can take care of simply by getting 4 Gym badges and unlocking the necessary items at Delibird Presents but am waiting on a Trade before I roll through them one by one. Of those Stone/Item Evolutions, only the Ice Stone evolutions will be an issue. I did manage to find one scouring Glaseado Mountain but I need two more to finish the starting Dex and that's not counting the two I'll need for Blueberry Dex.
Going to take a few days off since grinding Unova Pokémon can drive a person a bit mad and especially if you didn't know about the Picnic + Ham Sandwich combo in an area where Blissey + Chansey spawn ad nauseum. This grinding experience kind of reminded me of how Frodo felt once the ring was destroyed. I'll continue scouring for Ice Stones but I'll also have to catch/breed more Pokémon for the Violet exclusives. I bred 4 Fuecoco to go with an Armarouge(for Ceruledge), Own Tempo Rockruff and random Ralts, Growlithe and Riolu. Still got another 11 or so to get and I might just breed Scarlet exclusives to save me the hassle of catching.
@Hades0918: I think we'll do just about everything at once if at all possible. It would require that you go catch some more Paradox Pokémon since you can't breed the things XD. I'll also look into breeding more Own Tempo Rockruff since Dusk Lycanroc is kind of unique.

Campaign update: Small one really as progress on the main story plot lines remains stalled until I get the two team picks via Trade in the coming days. On the plus side, this has given me time to explore Glaseado Mountain and opted to catch a Wild Crabominable(hence removing one Ice stone from the equation) along with finding two additional Ice stones and a Thunder Stone by the 2nd Titan. This permitted me to evolve Cetitan and the Stone evolutions of Eevee while still having one Ice Stone left over for my Arctic Fox when it’s traded over.
@Hades0918 Plan right now is to trade Saturday evening with the priority being Alolan Vulpix and Drilbur. If opportunity exists, I’d like to get Violet exclusives as well the other Starters and certain Trade Evoutions(Scizor + Slowking). The latter(Slowking) I don’t have the item for just yet since I need 4 badges(won’t take me long to get them once I get those two Blueberry Pokémon for my run). So the plan B is to just trade it over for the Dex data and then trade it back unless you don’t care. I intend to do that for Miraidon but figure I’d mention that for Slowking. As for the other exclusives and other starters, I’ve been breeding Pokémon. I got 4 Fuecoco and now have 8 Rockruff with Own Tempo. Since Own Tempo is the only ability possible, breeding them results in 100% Own Tempo and the benefit of breeding has resulted in three females. Meaning if you want one to breed more, I can trade you one for keeps since 1% chance makes finding them a pain without Picnic/Meal powers. I intend to breed Murkrow, Deino, Drifloon, and other Scarlet exclusives in the coming days and do a swap for their counterparts. Whether it’s this Saturday or in the future is up to you. As for Palifin, I’d have to set up a Union Circle session for that guy OR simply trade for the Dex data and then trade it back. Your call on what you want to do there since either works for me.

Good to know but I haven't reached the postgame yet. Been deliberately stalling/waiting until I get my hands on a couple team picks via Trade. One is my overall favorite and is available post-game but I want to use it in my run and the other basically makes Iono a trivial opponent because it bypasses her clever use of Terastalization by way of Mold Breaker. That combined with Bulldoze(via TM) and I'll roll right over her. Won't take me that long to complete the regional Dex either since I've finished all the Scarlet Pseudos, leaving just those on Violet and Paradox/Treasure of Ruin catches. I'll still have Kitakami + Blueberry Dex to do though but the bulk of the leg work will be done.
@Hades0918 Other comment I made hasn't been approved yet but just wanted to note the time of upcoming Trade: Sunday December 22nd(02:30 UTC). Adjust time via Timezone for "actual" time(ex: UTC -8 = Saturday December 21st at 18:30). Have Alolan Vulpix, Drilbur and Violet exclusives for Paldea Dex ready to go. I'll also like to do Scizor, Slowking and Palafin, although I won't have King's Rock until I get 4th badge(hence I can quickly get them in about 90 minutes or less). Code will be same as last time. I'll have Scarlet exclusives ready to go.

I’ll try to summarize it then: Done a ton of Evolutions. All I have left are Stone(need 3 badges to buy them), Trade(Scizor + Slowking, latter requires 4 badges for its item so I’d trade for Slowking and trade back type of deal or simply trade for Slowpoke with the Kings Rock so it evolves for the Dex entry) and Violet exclusives. For Paradox and Miraidon, I’ll trade for them and trade back(especially on Miraidon). Then there’s Palafin where I’d simply trade for it rather than going through the hassle of Union Circle or multiplayer for it. Will trade it back given how hard it is to get, although I do have a Finizen ready if you want to do multiplayer for like 5 minutes for me to evolve mine.
Once I get Alolan Vulpix and Drilbur, I’ll roll through the Gyms so fast, it’ll be like a Blitzkrieg. I just have to decide on whom to use and with Gallade at level 76, I’m never going to lose. Speaking of Alolan Vulpix, if you want to name it Beira, feel free. Just remember that Beira is Female so if the offspring is male(25% chance), then it would be rather awkward. I’ll be on at 2:30am UTC or roughly 44 hours from now.
