You mean Pokédex before the journey? Eh if I wasn’t dead set on using Alolan Ninetales and Excadrill, I likely would have finished the game within two to three days or two weeks ago at the latest. So to bide my time, I made progress on Pokédex and consequently had one of my team picks reach level 76. Outside of the Gym battle with Larry, he already did the fights he was destined to participate in or the first two Titan fights and Giacomo. Everything else, the rest of the team can do in its place and if it must come to it, I can break Emergency glass and use him. He’s all set for the Ursaluna fight and is nearly ready for BB E4(just have to do Nature and EV’s + IV’s). Once the trade goes down, I’ll roll through the game relatively quickly because I can power level on Blissey and with 50% XP boost means it won’t take long. Brassius is easy and especially if I use Alolan Ninetales instead of Alolan Vulpix(I have Fire Croc and Stunky on standby), Iono will fall fast because Mold Breaker bypasses her Ace and Freeze Dry melts Kofu. Larry will be interesting but shouldn’t be too hard and the rest are easy.

Ah to be young again. I'm mostly training on a variety of wild pokemon. I tried to avoid as many battles as I could. I can't get enough of this game. But I want to actually finish all the story before starting over(thanks to home I would be able to get a bunch of the Pokedex). There is no reason to start over after you've already completed the dex twice but I think I will. On second thought I might want to finish and try 100%-ing because that feels the best.

If I do another run, I’m inclined to do a Liko run or Sprigatito starter, Charcadet as Fire pick(might do Ceruledge instead of Armarouge that is expected for Liko though; will have to trade for that one) and then grab Hatenna(who comes relatively late) as a Psychic/Fairy pick. Would probably round out the team with Shellder(can grab it relatively early with Skill Link ability if at all possible) and either Paldean Wooper or Gible to give the team Ground type boost. The last spot is reserved for Terapagos but that’s postgame. Also considering Swinub since I’m partial to certain Ice types and then use a different Water pick like Vaporeon. Everything points to Dot getting an Eevee though via Penny but I wouldn’t be shocked it Liko got one too.

Um you have multiple copies? Not like you can breed more(ditto Paradox Pokémon, although you can catch more of those far easier than the box legendary). Will be on later tonight.

Sorry for being late but I had a system outage literally minutes before 02:30 UTC that didn’t get resolved until now. That meant no internet of any kind so I couldn’t post this until now. If at all possible, I’d like to retry(again) tomorrow at the same time. As for two copies, afaik you only get one. You ride one and catch another but the one you ride doesn’t fight(again… afaik… I’ll find out myself soon enough). Anyways massive apologies for missing tonight. I suppose a silver lining is that I’ll be finishing Skywalker Saga tonight(almost 100%).

As I said in my last reply(which hasn't been approved yet), Internet outage occurred just prior to 2:30 UTC and lasted until 3:30 UTC or so. I'd like to try again tomorrow at 02:30 UTC where hopefully life doesn't throw yet another wrench into this Link Trade. I did finish Skywalker Saga tonight as I bide time on the trade. Considering it only cost me $16 for the game + all its DLC, I definitely felt I got my money's worth. The puzzles were generally the same on any given world though as they all followed a similar formula. Once you got a few worlds under your belt, you generally figured out the pattern on future worlds that made solving them easier. A tip for anyone thinking of trying it out is that you'll want to start with Episode VII initially to unlock Scavenger abilities. If you jump into Episode I like I did with DLC characters, you'll come to find your Scavengers are completely useless to you until you do Rey's Scavenger Tutorial on Episode VII(that is after the first Story Mission for that Episode). Once you do the Tutorial, then Scavengers can blast open walls, glide through the air or fire nets onto specific areas to be utilized. I'm not entirely sure if you could finish Episode VI without it as one mission requires a Scavenger(Ewok) to complete so I might see if that is the case on a fresh game. If it is… that's kind of a glaring hole if I've ever seen one.
Anyways… Scarlet Campaign shall continue tomorrow night after this Trade goes down(fingers crossed). I'll probably have all 8 Gyms finished before the night is over along with all Star Bases and Titans(my two Blueberry additions doing the bulk of the leg work(as they should)).
