Mega Staraptor looks cool to the degree that it might be the REAL second best Mega, kicking Starmie down to third place, but the type change makes me feel bad for Larry. I'm looking forward to seeing the other new Megas if they did all that to Staraptor of all Pokémon. I really thought it'd be as forgettable as the normal form. Also, I saw Mega Scovillain and didn't even notice it being Mega Evolved at first. It looks boring and forgettable.
My opinions on two new Mega Pokémon and a mention of a base game Z-A one.

Starapter is one of my all time favorite Pokémon!
Don't disrespect the normal version!
Also, what did they change the type to?
Normal/Fighting?
Either way, it hurts that my favorite gym leader (LARRY!!!) won't get the privilege of using it!

It's Delphox, surprisingly. No one knew or expected that at all. And you guessed right, Mega Staraptor is Fighting/Flying.
Also, I'm not sure if any of the other DLC Megas can beat the level of coolness it has. This is genuine. This is one of the coolest designs in all of Pokémon, and not in the Mega Starmie way. Though considering it that good might be my own opinion, and I'm not sure everyone would agree. It's the same kind of cool as Midnight Lycanroc, but much better and a bird.

Also, I forgot to mention this, but the shade of grey it is is lighter than the normal form, which is interesting. I think it looks better than it would've in its normal dark brown, though.
