I wanted to fight alongside Canari… I wish you could still attack your teammate in this game, Corbeau deserves nothing but losses in everything. They're trying so hard to make him likeable that it feels like the most forced thing I've seen in my whole life and I just see him as completely unlikeable and annoying because of it. It's too artificial. He isn't even a character, he's just a walking "give us money for this guy" sign. He will be not only the first Z-A character to get merch of themself, I'm sure he'll get an incomprehensible amount of merch too, and probably get 500 different outfits in the span of six months in Pokémon Masters EX, where he'll be the first Z-A character to join and immediately get sent to the Trainer Lodge. He is the personification of Pokémon's greed.

And finally, I found my first DLC shiny. It's not a Pokémon available in the base game, and so is another Pokémon mentioned, so I've put it in a spoiler warning for those who want to discover the dex on their own.
Shuppet. It actually made me a little sad since I was around some Galarian Yamask when I heard the sound, so I thought it was going to be a Yamask... but a shiny is a shiny.

Wait, it is, along with its evolution Banette since it already had a Mega. I forgot since I barely encountered it in the game. But there is a DLC Pokémon mentioned, so I'm not removing the spoiler warning.

I defeated Mega Golurk. I thought they made a Mega Metagross Z at first, but it looks cool.

DLC Mega that was already revealed in a trailer
I defeated Mega Chimecho, it was so weak and the AI was stupid. It lost because it refused to move out of the Fire Spin and Fire Spin+ combo I used. It could've moved out of it, but it lost because it stayed right in the center the whole time.

Mega Heatran looks so goofy, I love it. I won somewhat easily because I had a +88 level boost from my 4 star donut.
