    Okay, a couple things

I was talking to my Uncle

    He's into DND

In fact, he's the only reason I know what it is

I've always wanted to learn but he couldn't teach me without actually playing

But we had nobody to play it

So obviously finally getting to play it I was super excited to tell him

Me and him has a long talk and he shared some knowledge that I'd like to ask about

So when it comes to movement, I have an advantage because I can get to more/farther enemies. I don't know how to phrase it, so I'll example it. If we have two enemies, each 10 feet away, most people could move 10 to one, attack, move 10 to the next, attack, and retreat 10. I, though, could do the same thing but retreat 20, making it harder for enemies to reach me. Now, certain things may complicate that but basically that's how it sounded. How would this work for us? Is it the same?

Another thing is I've been planning for when I die (I'm the most likely to go first considering how reckless my guy is) and I had two ideas

If we could be Mythical, I want to be a Barbarian Zeraora with the battle axe, but I want to be able to use electricity with my weapon. I don't know if this was specific to his world, but he did a Barbarian that worshiped a thunder god, which gave him electricity. Is that possible for me?

The other one is Ceruledge. I was considering being a Paladin that worships an unholy god. That way I can use magic and weapons and match the Ceruledge personality. He said that would be more of a Warlock. But he heard it was a Ghost type and I could be an Undead. Would that be possible in this or is that not an option?

I'll probably have more questions but those are my main ones

For movement I don’t know enough about it this is my first time dming (well too be fair my no one in the D&D group I was in ever tried that) (well I did once dm a one off that when into chaos and monkey pawing but that’s a story for another day) though I think I’ll try to get a grid for main combat and try to find a way it works and make tokens of your characters and enemies

Also I’m going to be pretty lenient with character death and if your characters running low on health I’m probably just going to have the enemies attack someone else

I’m probably not going allow legendary or mythicals if you die since they are kind of like the deities of this land the things that paladins cleric vow themselves too (ultra beast will probably experience the same except with warlock though I can give an exception for poipole) also if you die depending on your level I may not let you have Ceruledge and instead be a charcadet til you get to a reasonable level

Though maybe eventually I’ll do a high level one off where I let you be these powerful pokemon but for the main campaign no

What if to go from Charcadet to Ceruledge you give me a side quest

When I complete it gives me an item and pretty much kills me, letting me evolve

    I'm just throwing out ideas

Just turn me down if you disagree

One of the reasons I chose Clockwork Soul was that it was a defensive subclass of Sorceress. The name of the game is to basically give you all a fighting chance by removing negative debuffs and removing any advantages the enemy may have as well. In a Pokémon sense, it's basically Haze wherein Allies are not penalized and enemies have no advantage to speak of. Combining that with the nature of Aurora Veil and other utility options can give you all the best means of taking down the opponent. It doesn't mean I can't pitch in Offensively though.
