Report: Abusing Timer and Ruining Ranked Match
I’m in a ranked match right now against [Edited by Mod_Bee - No naming other players], and this guy hasn’t made a single move for over 15 minutes — just because he’s clearly losing. This is absolutely ridiculous. He’s wasting people’s time on purpose.
And when his timer finally ran out, the game didn’t even end. Like, what the hell is this? I’m clearly at an advantage, and somehow I’m being forced to lose because of this broken system? Seriously, is this how your game rules are set?
You need to fix this. Add a strict time limit per turn or round, and punish players who deliberately stall like this. It’s unfair and completely ruins the ranked experience.
Do something about this — this shouldn’t happen in a competitive game.

@rich623 the game froze on you is what happened. Funny i just posted about it happening before i read this. The game would always freeze up during matches. Performing an action an it would just freeze an you would have to restart. But now!! Everything still works an the timer keeps going, but the other player never does anything. Its really annoying an even worse then the freezing. Atleast when it froze you knew to restart the game. Now you sit wasting time thinking your still in the match waiting on the other player.

@fineasmatei No , his game froze. He even said the game timer ended an nothing happened. If it was other player then his turn would of ended an the match would continue until it forfeit for him for being idle to long.

There's a lot of slow play in-game, to me it's the main reason there should be a report button with a "text area" to explain the issue like TCG Online had.
Some times I know it's game bugs, but it's not that hard to understand when it's slow play on purpose... specially in end game (last turn) when all the suddenly they play extremely slow because they know they will lose.
If we could report it, than the TCG Live team would analyze it and confirm, if it was actual slow play and the player was doing it in multiple games (and many players reported them) that player should get a warning, and in case they keep doing it... give them a soft ban (like some days without being able to play).
I believe just reciving a warning would be enough for them to think twice before slow play, the ban should only be applied in extrem situations, like after doing it a lot of times and reported by many other players.
Also a player should be able to contest the warning/ban providing details, and be compensated if it was game bugs, old device, slow connection, etc.

Agree with your post. Unfortunately, it is too common that opponents slow play once the game turns from their advantage to my advantage. This is something that should be addressed.
The one difficulty is the number posts I see complaining about cheating when it is most likely Live being buggy or people not fully understanding the rules.
