That technically works, but it's easier to click on a link than copy-paste one onto the search bar. You can make a clickable link by pressing the square with < > in it (it looks like [< >], but with a ceiling and floor), then pasting or typing the link into it and clicking "Insert." That's how it works on both desktop and mobile.
