So I'm trying to think of what events should happen in the build up to Rouge Alpha Mega Salamence

Maybe a run over roof tops, where Patch falls but Paxton dives in and catches it, Rotom phone saving it

An encounter with a group of angry Pokémon, which Paxton fights off

Maybe night falls and Patch and Paxton get stuck in a Battle Zone and Paxton has to follow it closely and protect it

All of the above

I don't know

Which are y'all feeling

Have any ideas?

I've been thinking

I'm also going to use the fall from a roof idea

So as Paxton is chasing Patch around, Patch finds a Holovater (or whatever they're called) and uses it to get on top of the buildings

Paxton follows and while he's trying to catch it, a flock of Pidgey our Fletchling come out of nowhere

This spooks Patch, and in its panic is when it falls

However, Paxton leaps for it immediately and his Rotom phone saves them before they hit the ground

When they land, Patch will look at Paxton with admiration

But, due to fear of rejection, it continues to push away

Once free from Paxton's hold, it goes to run but stops, seeing that they are surrounded by a whole lot of Kakuna

Paxton tells it not to worry

They can't really do anything in their shells

The Kakunas evolve

Now they are surrounded by a swarm of Beedrill that are furious

Why are they mad?

Because they are Beedrill

Thay are always mad

Anyways, Paxton now gets worried

This is a horrible situation to be in

He send out Charizard (Mable's Research), and even though hw has type advantage, they have number advantage

While he's fighting them, one of them charges at Patch

Paxton dives at it tavkling Patch out of the way, barely not getting hit himself

Patch, while admiring Paxton, still thinks that Paxton wouldn't want it

It sees a path of unconscious Beedrill that Charizard created and runs away

Paxton tries to chase it, but the swarm surround him and force him to stay and fight

After much more hard work, he defeats them all and then goes in the direction Patch went

After some searching in the area, he gets to Wild Zone 18, where there is a whole lot of Mega Energy going around

He wants to look for Patch, but knows he needs to check this out

As he approaches the gate, he notices that it's faulty and malfunctioning from all the Mega Energy

He enters the Zone and sees an Alpha Salamence, which the Mega Energy is circling around

Not only that, he sees Patch in a bush next to it, shaking in fear

He tries to call Vinnie and tell him the situation, but the Mega Energy is messing with his phone

Without being able to call for help, he still steps up, knowing he has to be the one to do this
