Why does this software use a psuedo-randomization engine instead of an actual shuffle algorithm?

After testing whether or not this was true over the course of approximately 200 simulated games, I have discovered that the shuffle algorithm in PTCG Live is not random at all. The type of card you draw: item, tool, pokemon, energy, supporter, etc. has nothing to do with whether or not the chance of drawing it dictates, but rather based on how the game is currently progressing.

Try building a deck with 1 basic pokemon, 30 supporter cards, and 29 energy cards. Now take that deck into any battle and watch how frequently you get either 6 energy or 6 supporter cards in your opening hand with the one pokemon.

Statistically, you should be getting a mix, but based on PTCG Live's algorithm, you will receive 6 supporter cards or 6 energy cards 33% of the time. This is based on a trial of 200 games where 136 games resulted in a mix of energy cards and supporter cards and 64 games resulted in either 6 supporter cards or 6 energy cards.

If you could please update your randomization engine to actually mimic riffle shuffling, that would be excellent, because until you do the online version of this game is a farce.
