Why does this software use a psuedo-randomization engine instead of an actual shuffle algorithm?

I actually think they might have changed it, because this morning it always showed my opponent flipping unsuccessfully first, before asking me what I wanted to do.

because if they can keep you around 50/50 wins loss you’ll be forced to play hundreds of matches crawling up the competitive ladder, spending more time on the game and increasing the likelihood you’ll spend money.
This is currently how every competitive algorithm works across all video games. It’s not random because money.
