New Forum Story Idea and Recruitment

So what I'm thinking is Zayn's small town is attacked by the Plasma Alliance.

Maybe his town has something that can awaken or summon the Legendary that gets chosen?

I'm wanting Girantina, but I'm down for whichever.

Anyways, the person that was sent (I don't know what rank they should be) demands to talk to the leader of the town.

Zayn claims it's him, being the best trainer he thinks gives him the authority, and goes up to them.

The Plasma Alliance requests the Legendary's item.

Zayn, not knowing what the item is (he's young, 13-14), says okay and goes to hand it over.

The town elders, the real leaders, interrupt, though.

They take the object from Zayn right as he's about to hand it to the Plasma Alliance.

This angers the the ranked official, who says that because Zayn already agreed the item is there by theirs.

The elders, who know what the object is capable of, refuse to hand it over and tell them to leave.

The Plasma Alliance make the threat of using brute force.

Zayn, who thinks he could handle that, laughs and says that he's the best trainer in the world and no matter what they do he can take them.

The ranked official decides that, since the kid is so great, they will battle.

Plasma Alliance gets the object if they win, but if Zayn wins they will get out of there.

Zayn accepts before anyone can stop him and a deal is made.

The battle starts and Zayn sends out his Absol and the ranked official sends a Toxicroak.

The battle is practically one-sided, the Toxicroak destroying Absol, which hits Zayn hard in his ego.

As Absol collapse, one of the Plasma Alliance grunts snatches the item out of the elder's hands and the group leaves, having what they came for.

Although, just to make them cruel, I could have them destroy the town on their way out.

Either way works.

Anyways, the town is furious with Zayn, and the elders explain to him what the item can do and the amount of danger Zayn put the world in.

It's at this moment Zayn realizes;

1: He is incredibly weak and

2: He just made a huge mistake due to his arrogance.

He leaves the town with Absol, going on a Hero's Journey to actually become the strongest and to get back the Legendary's item from Plasma Alliance.

Along the way he will struggle with self-doubt, losses, and many other hard times.

He will have good moments, though

And by the end of the story he will be a strong trainer and confront the Plasma Alliance, fixing what he did wrong however long ago we want it to be.
