Weird "glitch" with mega dex (SPOILERS)
Personally, I don't have switch online, which is preventing me from getting the shiny charm, and I have no local friends who have the game. For my mega dex, I just needed scizor, which was keeping me from completing it. But yesterday, they released the diancie event, and you could register it in your mega dex. I am not sure if this happens with the mega starters, because, like I said, I don't have switch online. I was really confused by this, and thought it was cool so decided to talk about it.

They were talking about what they needed to complete their PokéDex and said they didn't actually need something thanks to Diancie
I didn't know what they were talking about but I gave them the Pokémon they were going to skip

You do not need a Nintendo online membership to claim Mystery Gifts you just need a Nintendo Acount.
I claimed the Ralts holding the Gardiovorite without the online membership( But now I have it so I could get the Greningaite).

I got the online with 2 days left for the Greningainte I have it but I dont have a Greninja because all the Froakies all ran away before I see them.

Wait I did that Mission where you have to race the Froakie? It never gave me one I even checked my boxes.

The requests require you to obtain 230 Pokémon/ 65 Megas. It doesn't need you to catch Diancie, because it's an event exclusive and that would be unfair for players who want the Shiny Charm but missed out on the event. But that means you can go up to 231 Pokémon and 66 Megas if you catch it, making one Pokémon unnecessary.
