What do "Levels" do on this website?

I get these notifications from time to time on the fact that I "leveled up", and I thought it was cool at first, and wold unlock secret benefits, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Anybody know what they do?

Also, what's the level cap? I'm at level 3 so far.

    Idk what the level cap is, but the levels have no purpose other than looking cool and (maybe) attracting attention.

    Level three is the highest. You level up by having a ton of posts and more positive reactions than negative ones.

    I don't think it does anything so far. Not even unlocking Legendary/Mythical Pokémon avatars or special frames or anything of the like.

    Also it adds stars under your name.
