    The pop-in due to the limited draw distance is good for gameplay, actually. You can see every pokemon generated in the overworld at a glance, and you can easily spawn an entire set of new ones.

    A few of mine are that I think dynamax was AWESOME, most popular pokemon are extremely overrated, a lot of champions and gym leaders are overrated, and that newer rivals I feel are genuinely better than old ones. Like Blue was just a bully, Barry was an airhead, etc. But the new ones actually give them story and character, and have them act as an actual friend rather than just being plain boring.
