    The Beasts, which everyone calls dogs even though theyre not dogs, and the Hoenn trio are the coolest.

    And I know you didn't ask but Tapus are the worst. What even are those things.

    Tapus aren't really a trio, as there are four of them...just another reason they're weird 😂

    I really like the creation trio, especially Dialga, but the light trio and the legends of Galar are high on my list as well.

    Personally, I love the Swords of Justice (Virizion, Terrakion, and Cobalion). I can't wait for their new paradox forms, since I love Iron Leaves so much.

    My favorite trio is the Beasts, followed by the Birds, and with third being the Tao trio. My least favorites are the Titan, Neo-Titan, and Light trios. Neo-Titan trio being Regigigas, Regilekki, and Regidrago.

    I really like Pokémon that are heavily animal-like, and to me a trio should be balanced in some way. The designs of the Beasts and Birds are a nice balance of striking, elegant, and memorable. The Tao trio are literally about mental balances.

    Both Titan trios are rather bland to my tastes, and the Light trio is too different from its regional counterparts. The Ultrabeasts which are just Pokémon from the same region as the Light trio, are strikingly different from Alolan Pokémon, but the Light Trio themselves sit apart from either region in design in my opinion.
