would you rather have a:

Talent in a particular thing (like drawing, playing piano, etc)

Or have a SKILL in the same particular place. (Lots of effort put in)

I have talent at certain things

It hits you harder when you fail them because you never worked for it so you don't know how to work to improve

But with a skill you've always had to work so failure doesn't hurt as bad

I've always been considered "gIfTeD" my entire life and honestly I kinda hate it.

All my friends say I'm "lucky" that I have life on "easy mode" but honestly I kinda get forced to be the "mature" one.

I wanna be ahead in school and start college early but my teacher kept me in the same grade for math even though I got a 73 on the step-up test.

My mom says she's gonna put me in this and that and it never happens.

Makes me feel lazy and not challenged enough..

So I'll take skill all the way because there are already some stuff I wanna pursue that are outside my skill circle.
