No way older is better (I will stair at you that you start reconsittering your livecoises)
It's an unfortunate reality. Denying it is to your peril but accepting it permits you to plan accordingly. There are podcasts for "talk radio" but that's not really "radio" in a traditional sense for me. When I think of radio I think of music and unfortunately, the digital age has just crushed it with the likes of iTunes, Spotify and other music platforms. Why listen to radio when you can stream it or own it outright yourself.

Absolutely love this question! There is something special about all of those old-school-ways, such a vibe. But honestly? My heart leans toward internet radio :D
There is something quite magical about tuning into a random internet station and suddenly being hit with a song you have not heard in years (or ever). It’s like the surprise of old FM, but with way more variety, and zero static. Not to mention one minute you’ll be listening to ‘90s hits from London, next it’s Japanese city pop, and then some obscure lo-fi channel no one has ever heard of. Love a good radio roulette!2
