Has a Pokémon ever surprised you by becoming one of your favorite teammates?

Sometimes I’ll add a Pokémon to my team without thinking much about it, and somewhere along the way I realize I’ve gotten really attached to them. By the end of the playthrough, I can’t imagine the team without them. Has that ever happened to you? Who became an unexpected favorite?

Then there was a Mimikyu on my team in Violet that was the beginning of my newfound love for Mimikyu

i used it in pokemon black to copy another team that had a garchomp, except i couldn’t get garchomp in b/w since i didn’t have a copy of d/p/pt to transfer a garchomp from. i saw that gliscor had the ability and typing that i needed, so i substituted it with gliscor. sand veil + bright powder for life.

i now use it in champions, even though i have a garchomp that can do everything gliscor does but better.

i just like gliscor now :)
