I know this can't happen in competitive, but in my first Sword run my Cinderace toughed out three hits in a row and pulled off the win

There have probably been too many to count over the decades. Between lucky captures of low capture rate Pokémon, critical hits during desperate moments in key battles and the handful of shinies I had crop up before they were apparently a dime a dozen in the newer games.

In the TCG back when base set was the only set I opened a couple of Charizards.

Sadly I immediately traded one away for a handful of relatively worthless foils and the other has disappeared alongside the rest of my childhood collection. The suspicion is that one of my uncles threw them away when he was cleaning out my grandmother's house. Apparently my mother had stored a bunch of my stuff there without my knowledge.

Decidedly unlucky.
