Oh, if we are including the legendary dragons that makes things easier, because despite loving gen 5 and being a dragon fan, I think generic dragon Pokémon in gen 5 kind of suck.

Gen 5: Dragons are alright. What I dislike about Unova though is how late their Pokemon evolve. Braviary, Hydreigon, Volcarona… ugh. It's why Haxorus is ok in my book because Mold Breaker ability is so good in the right situation and Iris(enough said).

I like Unova because of that, and yes Haxorus is my favorite also, but I like how you have to work toward it, so that it keeps you playing longer.

As someone who's had to deal with Gyarados for ~30 years, I think being spared having to raise a Larvesta all the way to level 59 or heaven forbid a Deino to level bleeping 50 before it evolved into its 2nd stage(Gen 1 Growlithe learning Flamethrower flashbacks intensifying) is something I don't want to experience or repeat(bad enough with Growlithe... Ugh).
