Which Pokémon do you like to play the most in Pokémon Unite, and why?
At first, I mostly played ranged Pokémon, but I quickly realized that Zeraora (a melee Pokémon) had become my favorite. Still, these days I also enjoy playing other Pokémon every now and then.

Ceruledge and Quaquaval
If you can't tell, I'm an up close and personal fighter
Ceruledge has a beautiful combo:
Flame Charge-Basic Attack-Bitter Blade-Basic Attack-Flame Charge-Basic Attack
Quaquaval just fights smoothly and is a whole lot of fun!
My number one best Pokemon in the game is Pikachu, though

I have a few favorites for each "role" category but hmmmmm I guess my battle record speaks for itself..…. I can list them all if you'd like 😁 or I can keep it short and just say my usual answer of: it depends on the match type (ranked, casuals, quicks, or solos), which specific stadium, who I'm playing with & against (reals or cpus), team composition already picked before me and what mood I'm in and how I feel like playing that round.

My top picks are Gyarados and Alolan Raichu currently. With Gyarados, yeah Magikarp ain't fun but once you evolve, Dragon Breath used to do INSANE basic attack damage. And Alolan Raichu is similar, just with Stored Power and Psychic. The fact Stored Power is obtainable just at lv 5 can make you a mid game menace.

Currently Gyarados and Raichu for me. Dragon Breath and Stored Power take no skill but boosting basic attack is so much fun

Welllllll....
All-rounders: Ceruledge (gold ribbon status). I play every battle type and stadium against reals and cpus, with her and still somehow ended up on the globally ranked list (I'm somewhere in top 50). She's my go to girl 😉 💜🔥 but I enjoy other all-rounders too such as Dhelmise (top ten globally ranked), Zacian, Aegislash, Dragonite, the Charizards, Mega Lucario, the new guy Quaquaval (I do good attk dmg with him and yep @Hades0918 is right, that one just flows nicely), Mewtwo X and Gyarados. I'm learning Scyther (so awesome so far since I just got his license) Empoleon (fun!), and Suicine (I like the ranged all-rounder!). (I want Blaziken but that's my bfs main so I've put off getting him).
Defenders - Ho-Oh was my original main but they nerfed him.... Still love him though and play him (he was my first main in ranked to get me to Masters). Then Blastoise!!! Oh man surfing the oranges out of goal zones so my squishy teammates can score, then hitting the oranges with a hydro... Too much fun!! 😁😎. I want his sunglasses holowear. Even though they nerfed him too, I still play as him. Articuno.... that legendary bird is/was an awesome defender and the goal or orange freezing unite move was a game changer for me and many of my random teammates. Unfortunately they nerfed him/her too. 😕. My defender favs aren't as powerful as they used to be, but they still get banned in ranked so that says that people still fear them, lol.
Speedsters - My original and still fav TalonFlame. Love that fire type bird!! Also Rapidash (my prancing pony pounces!) and Leafeon.
Supporters - Jiggles!!!!! Yep, "Jigglytuff" was my first gold coin purchase in Unite about a year ago. I was my bf's backup so I supported her with my wonderful singing and slapping (😁 also sooooo much fun!). Latias is a must for Latios (not really but it is fun to play the buddy system). Now I've added Meganium to my small list of supporters. However they nerfed her too, twice. Ok fine, the first nerf I can maybe understand (triple 100ks were practically possible) but this 2nd nerf makes me sad every time I play her 🥺.
And last but not least...
Attackers - Pikachu, Cinderace (lots of attk dmg!), Venusaur (hard to choose between petal dance and solar beam... See? That's why we should be allowed to pick in-game!), Typhlosion (LAVA EXPLOSIONS!!!!), Armarouge (fire spin allows me to be in your face and I can still be ranged), Glaceon (icle spear is awesome), Espeon, Latios (draco meteor), Ninetails (loved her during Panic Parade! My main there).
These aren't necessarily in order. But there you go. My current favs 😉
