What is the True Mewtwo Origin Story?
Do you go by what the games say is the actual Mewtwo origin story or by what the Anime say is the correct story? And tell us why.....
This topic came up this morning between me and my best friend as we discussed the different origins and theories.... I'm curious to see what you all think is the correct version. 🙂

I mean depends, as both are different universes. I don't think there is a universal Mewtwo story just one for each timeline.

mewtwo a genetic freak created from the genes of mew from scientist searching to create the most powerful pokemon in the land. Mewtwo broiled with anger and agony of its existence and vowed to wipe all humans off the earth. During mewtwo’s reign humans tried to develop as fast as they could a device to which would be called the master ball. Attempt after attempt they kept failing to make this creation while the population never ceases to drop . To this their own creation was finally done yet only one human remained. Questioning if it was worth it what’s the point when all is lost. The human went to encounter mewtwo with this device in his sweaty hands. Made his final breathe to contain the threat that yveltal destruction reveals dim. Mewtwo still trapped in that ball at the cave where it resides. While around Pokémon develop to a civilization once prophesied. No records kept for they were destroyed with a civilization long ago. Will history scar the new apex with a mark of pure revenge. Or will the sealing of the beast bring peace to a worlds end.

I consider the game version (it's created to be the strongest Pokémon and is made with Mew's DNA, destroys the lab it was in after gaining consciousness, and then flies to Cerulean cave) to be canon. I also like to think Team Rocket was involved in it, like in the anime (especially since Giovanni uses Mewtwo in USUM).

So in the video game Blaine created Mewtwo (if I understood, anyways)
I've only read one book of the Manga, but Blaine used Mewtwo in that too
But in the anime, Giovanni had Team Rocket make Mewtwo
So... what if Blaine was manipulated into helping create Mewtwo without knowing that he was doing it for evil?
There are of course things that turn down my full story of Blaine helping save Mewtwo from Team Rocket, but him being manipulated into doing it seems reasonable based on my knowledge

Mew, while roaming the Rhythm Heaven Universe, became ensnared by a phantom force created portal, popping out into the Pokemon Universe where Mew was cloned after being knocked out by a rogue Tinkaton who also had previously transported back in time through a different wormhole (because Tinkaton is gen 9 😉) where Team Rocket captured said knocked out mew, transported mew to a scientific research laboratory where they then extracted the DNA of said Mew to experiment on, creating other versions such as Ditto, and finally Mewtwo! 😁
(I'm joking guys/gals. I made that up right now. 😁 And yeah, I got to work on my run-on sentences, lol)
