Good stuff! And yeah, my best friend reminds me of that, but my crowned form Zacian in Unite has the same eyes as my now deceased puppup (my dog 🙂) who was definitely male so by default and in remembrance of my loyal awesome dog I think of Zacian as a he. Also I pronounce it incorrect too, or I guess give it a nickname... He's "zack-eon" or at least that's how I pronounce it when I talk about how close to a blue ribbon I am or how nerfed he was recently with my bf (just examples). Basically, I made my own story for my Zacian 😁. Afterall, there are more than one in Unite at least, else how would there be two on the battlefield on opposing teams st the sane time. 😉

it’s also mentioned as a king in some too

The closest I could find to what you were saying was "Able to cut down anything with a single strike, it became known as the Fairy King's Sword, and it inspired awe in friend and foe alike."
It says "the Fairy King's Sword," meaning a sword belonging to the Fairy King. It does not say that Zacian itself was known as the Fairy King— but as a sword belonging to the Fairy King.
It's sweet that you can still feel connected to him through Unite. (I am terrible at words like these, but I hope my intent shows)

The whole reason I got to choose Sword as a first version was because of my connection to my Grandfather. And how it shaped my choice was through my deep respect for him. I took his car and installed a way to track him and keep him safe and they gave him a letter. Needless to say I think it's signature move is appropriate and even made the news! Now I sit on message boards after losing my dog nine years ago. And I have a horrendous accent where no one can understand me. Tragedy

I think it gets mentioned as a king in other Pokémon’s entries or just in lore building material

Yeah Eevee is predominately Male but when you look at it’s Evolutions… it’s hard to argue that Sylveon can be considered anything other than Female. In the anime, Serena’s Sylveon is Female(although I attribute that to getting lucky with a wild Female Eevee find) and I think the Teacher in S17E13 has a Female Sylveon. The rest of the Eevee evolutions though… you can have both Male and Female as I see it. Male Sylveon though… that just doesn’t feel right(even though my Sylveon on Z-A is Male). Majority of Fairy Pokémon, if you think about it, give off Female vibes(Clefairy, Ribombee, etc.).
As for the topic at hand, it’s Vulpix. I love this thing since Season 1. Any Pokémon that can put Misty in her place is alright in my book. Made even bettter by arguably having the best regional variant. Shame it comes so late in Gen 7 and 9(no idea how early you can get it in Gen 8) but in Gen 1, Vulpix is one of the better Fire types you can get and just in time for Erika’s Gym(Rocket Game corner only in Yellow). Not as strong of a movepool as Charizard but learns Flamethrower earlier and has a stronger Special(Gen 1 only). Kanto Ninetales needs a secondary typing though. It’s so overdue and I really want Fairy typing to mirror it’s Alolan counterpart.
