I wish, there was a feature where we could play through cut scenes or important dialogue a second time, without having to reset or start a new save file. (I remember something about it being said, but not the exact details.

Although, this adds to my secondary theory about a game with Alola and Galar in it. (Heck, they could go ahead and have three regions in a single game and add Hoenn to it. But, that'd be pushing expectations a little, especially so soon. I wouldn't hold my breath on that much, sadly...)

But, Alola and Galar are definitely the top two likely candidates. Especially Alola being given Mega Mythicals.

Sidenote: Some of that prior talk about Deoxys is making me wonder if maybe we'll be getting a Mega or even Gigantamax Deoxys in the near future… (Great... Now I kinda wanna attempt fan concept art of it...)

Off Topic: Am I able to post art here? If so, how?

On topic: I agree with everything you said. The mention of AZ in the Darkest Day was in the letter he gave you with Lucario.

Side-Note: I've been waiting for a Mega but G-Max would actually be really cool!

Off-Topic: You could, but you have to turn it into a link, which @fineasmatei or @UnovanZorua could explain

You can search up an image upload site, upload your image, then copy the link and post it here. I usually use this one when I need to post images from my gallery (if you already have them uploaded somewhere, you can open the image in its own tab and post the link here).

Also, to post links, you need to use the [< >] shaped button in the left corner of the box where you type.

I don't think we know exactly when the Darkest Day occurred… unless I'm missing something?

I personally don't recall the exact calculations, but I do vaguely recall it being around the time that @Hades0918 said. (3,000 years ago.)

I'd very much appreciate if we could replay important cut scenes or dialogue, so we could double check this kind of information (as well as just generally enjoy the story again without having to reset or start a new save file).

What if the Gen 10 game is released and then it also gets a legends game with the history of the island surfing!

I was doing some analysis a bit earlier today... Then, I started thinking about Ultra Megalopolis. It didn't seem like anything too major. Then I happened to recall specific parts of the name.

It has "Ultra" obviously for "Ultra Space". However, I began to focus on the "Megalopolis" part. "Mega"... As in "Mega Evolution"...? Perhaps not. But, what made me notice this tiny tidbit, was when I recalled Megalo Tower.

My brain went into hyper analysis mode, and I began to ponder bit after bit. I hope everyone recalls that Ultra Ruin was a destroyed Hau'oli City. And, there're some theories suggesting that the other Ultra Worlds are other bits of Alola.

Okay, now hang in there, as I explain. I recall hearing these suggestions, as every Ultra World was explained to be a counterpart of Alola, in some way. But, the thing is... I have no recollection of hearing anything about Ultra Megalopolis. The thing is. I haven't seen any place that really resembled Ultra Megalopolis, anywhere in Alola.

    ...

    ...

    ...

(I wonder how many caught that.) The only place, that I could recall that might actually match Ultra Megalopolis, is a place well-known—especially currently—for Mega Evolution. (And, for having some sort of tower.) Kalos. Or, more specifically. Lumiose City. Lumiose City has—or had— a tower, known as "Prism Tower." It may not seem like much of a connection… Until you look at the name.

I'd have to do more research, but the most prominent connection with between the two towers, are the names. "Mega" for "Mega Evolution", and "Prism" which usually has to do with shapes, but in science has to do with refraction of light, through shapes, in a similar appearance to Necrozma. (I'm not good at explaining science, but if you look at the example images of a prism, some of them will show a rainbow of colors exiting from it. This is due to light being bent, or something along those lines.)

But, the prismatic shape of Necrozma and the buildings of Ultra Megalopolis, especially the theme of refraction of light—not to mention Necrozma's Move "Prismatic Laser". Gee, now what else shoots off a laser, and has a "prism" theme? Prism Tower. Especially when—spoiler alert—Hyperrogue Ange Floette has taken over.

It's still important to remember that I could be wrong. However, the evidence keeps becoming more and more indisputable. (I just hope I'm not getting my hopes up, at this point. I'm sure if I'm wrong now, then I'd become rather depressed. I'm excited either way, but if I happened to be right, then I'll have finally guessed the next game, and without having to reside too much on others.

I do have some other theories relating to this, but I'm gonna save them for another post, or even for one of my side project.

P.S. I'm aware that there's a chance that Megalo Tower has a stronger connection with another building, but the given details, and timing, it makes sense that this would be the connection.

Also, based on release order, Alola being the location of the next Legends game, is more evident to be likely. When the games released for the first time, it was Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Hoenn (remakes + Mega Evolution), and Alola. But so far, the Legends games skipped a region. Leaving it as Sinnoh and Kalos, pulling Unova out of the mix. (To someone who mentioned Galar, it could be possible that the Hoenn remakes aren't counted in this lineup, and only sequel games will be skipped this round. But, considering the timeline of events, and the pattern that is formed, it could very well be possible, that the this is the given order.)

So, if the release order has any indication of what to expect. This should be, about what it would look like:

    • Approved: Legends Arceus, Legends Z-A, Legends <Alola>
    • Sidelined: Unova, Hoenn

Also... With the reveal of the Omni Ring, the first two symbols we see available on it, is the Mega Evolution and Z-Move symbols. Somewhat suggesting that first we'll get Mega Evolution. Then, we'll get Z-Moves. This is the same order we got them originally, I wouldn't expect them to rerelease them in any other order. (But, then again... They could.)

But, it's getting harder and harder to believe that Alola isn't next. But, hey. That's just a theory. A game theory. Thanks for reading.

While I don't think the next Legends game will be in Alola (despite it being one of my favourite regions and having a lot of potential, I just have a feeling that it isn't next. If this feeling turns out to be wrong, I'll be really happy, though I might stay a little pessimistic since I ended up disliking Z-A as a Kalos fan), I love the theory that Ultra Megapolis is a far future Lumiose.
