Players don't want to play defender and 4 attackers is 90 percent a lost .

Matchmaking would so much better if we block 2 per role.

It's time to block 5 attacker nonesense

Nope. I don't agree. Are you talking about ranked matches? Still don't agree.

We want to be able to choose. If a team's agreed upon strategy is a multi-attacker one, then that is their choice. Don't limit us anymore than you already have with preset move paths and only one move path for newly released pokemon (as you all said was going to happen). Stop taking away our choices and options!

By the way... I know of at least two current attacker classified roles Pokemon who do well with their area attacks, Venusaur and Armarouge. When those moves are selected and used appropriately, that turns them more into all-rounders/supporters/defenders.... it's how you play with them that counts. Of course if you opted for Solar Beam instead of Petal Dance then you become a ranged attacker. But the option is there and we like having choices!!! Same with Armarouge... as a consistent Ho-oh trainer in ranked (made it to Masters with Ho-Oh as my primary Pokemon), I find that Armarouge's fire circle thingy does a MORE POWERFUL attack damage, than Ho-Ohs, who is classified as a defender! Of course, Ho-oh's fire circle thingy (too early in the morning when I type this so I can't remember the name) also has the whole deferred damage from those he's protecting onto himself, but Armarouge can go toe-toe with Ho-Oh's and use it like a defender would, and actually KO opponents with it.

Again, I believe communication with your teammates pregame while selecting pokemon is key. The strategy to play multiple attackers should be agreed upon as a team, not as a selfish "I just want to play attacker and that's all I'm going to choose regardless of the team" thing. I totally understand why this is frustrating when it isn't a discussed or agreed upon team strategy. However, please DO NOT TAKE AWAY OUR CHOICE TO CHOOSE WHICH POKEMON WE USE. Some of us like trying different options and strategies. And amazingly, we can make it work.

By the way, I usually have to fight to be a defender in ranked (I have two favorite defenders I play with, both above green ribbon status). So for me, I read the team composition and choose from the appropriate roles that are still needed when others choose defender(s) before me. The key is to know how to use multiple roles and be willing to adapt to the team you get matched with. Communicate with each other and you may accomplish great things. Good luck.

The people who agree simply cannot play other roles. They make other players miserable

    Which is a fact
