For Kalos I would like another shot at it but Legends A-Z, focusing on the time period 3000 years ago and maybe playing as AZ or Floette.

I don't want them to just push out Legends games for their own sake. If there is a good gameplay idea around which to make it and an interesting story to tell, fair enough. I want art, not "content". We don't need more vapid product to mindlessly consume.

That said, I don't know if it would be a Legends game, but there is potential in a gen 1/2 prequel. Mewtwo's story has more or less been explained by secondary sources such as the manga and anime, and we can infer from in-game sources that something broadly similar happened in that continuity. But it could be interesting to see.

As much as I dislike XY and we did already get a Kalos Legends game, albeit a sequel rather than a prequel, AZ's history and the Pokémon war could also be interesting.

Then again, maybe some things are better left to the imagination. I cannot help but think that they would tone things down and retcon some of the more brutal elements that you can get away with merely describing in a children's game. Much harder to avoid if it happens on screen. But there is potential there.

I don't want content for the sake of content

I want things that could explore lore of regions or give us a game that feels like its own thing (like Arceus) but is based on an existing game

I don't know if that last part made sense, but yeah
