Those chests were there a LOOOOOOOONG time before the hue bird was even started. The first wheat field and sugarcane field and the melon field and the carrots and potatoes were all in place before we talked about even making a post office or community center. @MonstaDash started most of them, but I had added the carrots, potatoes , bamboo, beets, and another wheat since I had helped expand, and care for/harvest, the community fields. I know I mentioned them a while ago too. 😐. Thanks for noticing.
Oh the reason those chests are at those locations is for ease in gathering the harvests, or so that is what I find them to be.

Yes, the hue bird was started before the mention of a community center.
However, MonstaDash started the previously mentioned fields and chests (see my other comment for a list) before the hue bird AND before I even joined in. Then I added additional fields of various types (and corresponding chests) while he was building mine and CP's first bases, and I tended those and harvested some of the needed wood for the builds. CP and I also fixed up the townhouses that had been looted, repaired and created connecting pathways and staircases within the town too during this timeframe. All that happened prior to the community center discussion. TBH, I think you were working on Chorus Kids first.
The gray hut was built by @TheNinjaBear777 when we started discussing a possible postoffice... That was the same time you announced you would build a community center. He built it in a about a day (possibly 2?) for immediate use.... And we have used it.
Just straightening out the timeline of events for ya'all.

I know. Because it was AFTER I was in game & the chorus kids start. I remember because there was nothing on that hill next to our bases. It was empty. Yes, the third wheat field was added waaaay later because everyone was using up the wheat from the other two fields, but the hue bird start was after our bases, the bases were after I came in game, and the primary fields @MonstaDash created were ingame BEFORE I joined.
(The melon farm took a while to build because CP had to adventure to find watermelons and I respawned once farther away and found the village with the pumpkins. We brought those back to town to share along with other items at various times.)
We put a lot of work into TinkatoWn. That's why I'm reminding everyone of the timeline. That's also why it bugs me when I go back and see things poorly maintained or creeper holes all over the place.
