[2026/02/11] THE IMPOSTER/nopr TRACKING THREAD v1
we the people of us of the pokemon forums:
if you haven't been aware, the forum has been plagued with imposter posters posting amongst us as of late and they have struck again
in response i decided to create this thread to track and discuss all the info we have on them in one central hub instead of being scattered around
note: the imposters/clones/copies/etc have only ever identified themselves as "nopr"
without further information i can only assume this stands for something like "nonnaturally printed" due to their use of cyrillic characters in usernames to impersonate others. if nopr wants to let us know otherwise then feel free to respond here
i have detailed a method on how to specifically differentiate the fakes by username here: (but the easiest way to tell at a glance is their postcount/join date/rank being that of a new user)
this will not be a war offense like other recent events, this is a headquarters of documentation. we are not requesting the Mods to make a pending decision to delete nopr now or other actions, but rather observing to raise awareness.
as of time of posting today (February 11 2026) here are the notable events in this saga:
- January 29, 11:44 AM UTC: nopr copies clasingla's name (different last a) and avatar
- at some point this user was renamed to NewUser0803
current status: unbanned but renamed
- January 29, 12:37 AM UTC: nopr copies Voltareon2012's name (different a) and avatar
current status: unbanned, name and avatar still remain
- January 29, 12:38 AM UTC: account named 'admin' appeared with a fake 'a'
- their post has been deleted but responses remain in the thread
current status: banned and posts deleted
- very recently (Feb 11, 2026 5:54 AM UTC) a fake LinhDrago (the 'a' is fake) appeared in an old Unite thread from 2023 posting various 'test' and 'testing rc' comments
- they did not set an avatar but did register in January 29 like the other accounts
- current status: unbanned
i will only be able to edit this original post for a week but in that time i will update with any more discoveries if reported here or in the comments. thanks for your reading.

Another question, (since I'm having a hard time telling the difference in the a's) did you run a search for the words "testing" and "nopr" to look for more possible fakes?

don't know for certain but fake clasingla and voltareon both called themselves nopr so i will refer to them all as nopr for now
yes. i have also run a member search. i haven't found other blatant imposters, but i have sus on user @brengana because they also joined january 29 like the other mimics and have been bumping random old threads around the same hour the new fake LinhDrago has been active. not saying they are an imposter or nopr and they haven't done anything wrong yet but i would take notice of it.
also if you search up brengana in the search the word brendan comes up

My advice is, if you have any forum related issue contact the support directly explain the situation and let them do their job.

Good job guys you were right on most of the things.
Explaining what happened that was a test made by nopr as a third party partner to work with Pokemon in some projects don't worry all are under Pokemon supervision and legitimate tests. "Sadly they didn't pay for those recent efforts but still happy making the community more safe.1
