I like them (except the pikachu doesn't quite look right to me imo), but can't afford them right now. Maybe someday.........

I bought a switch 2 and a bunch of games for it so I’m in debt, but if I didn’t i probably would (I probably wouldn’t build it though I probably keep it in my shelf sealed for safe keeping)

Remember when Lego was a toy for children rather than a premium nostalgia brand for gen x'ers and millennials?

Don't get me wrong, it was on the higher price range of block toys, and some of the sets could be very pricey, but looking at it now, it's absurd.

The great thing about Lego was taking the mishmash of random blocks you had in your toy box and building your favourite things yourself, or making something original. If you have a pre-assembled set, you're missing all the fun.

And at these prices, I'd expect a premium, hyper detailed statue or figure, not some blocky vague approximation of it I have to put together myself.

Why spend upwards of $1k when I can enjoy Lego's via Lego GAMES on Switch 2. Skywalker Saga > all Lego Sets. If Pokémon had a brain, they'd do a Lego game. I mean Carbot did a "Mod" or overlay for Starcraft that makes it feel like you're watching the Cartoon, only that its you actively playing. Imagine if Red/Blue/Yellow was re-done with Lego's… just sayin.
