Flags are a problem!

Anyways, picture this:
You're having a good day on the Forums
Just having fun and commenting a random posts you see
You share an opinion and somebody opposes it
The two of you argue and you don't think anything of it
It was just a friendly disagreement
Later, you log back on and your argument comments and over 50 other random ones have been flagged!
Most of them there is no reason behind!
Flagged!
All because of a disagreement.
That's not at all fair
I say the flag system needs removed
Most people use it as a disagree button instead of using the actual disagree button, and some take it to this extreme
Look at @Thur55555555555 for example
198 flags over absolutely nothing
And their flagger took it to an even further extreme, flagging anyone that supports Thur
If this is how flags are being used then they shouldn't be an option!
And I know, it's not like flags do anything
You just get two points removed
But it's still an issue that someone can go through and just spam it like Thur's attacker did
If you don't remove the reaction, at least make sure there are human workers going through the flags, ensuring that they are actually reasonable
I will post something like this once a week until a change happens

No need to post a whole discussion multiple times (as that could clog the section and be an inconvenience), just revive it often.
Anyways, I think flags are pointless. For dislike and disagreements, disagrees are enough, and if someone is doing something legitimately bad, reports exist. They're a pointless feature that does nothing but worsen the experience of using the site, meaning it would be a better idea to remove them than keep them.
