"Thank you so much, sir," I exclaim happily as I hand the shipment man the money in exchange for the three Pokéballs. The man tipped his hat towards me and go back onto his boat, sailing off to make another shipment I assume.

I smile as I let my three new Pokémon out of their balls.

"Hello, friends," I say, and Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokémon, Oshawott, the Sea Otter Pokémon, and Cyndaquil, the Fire Mouse Pokémon. Three starters from three regions. "Are you ready to be apart of science," I ask them and they cheer back enthusiastically.

I lead the way back to the village, humming happily as the three follow behind me. Suddenly, a giant hole forms in the sky. Not a hole, no, more of a tear. It was purple and black, and as I stared into it I could see reality itself distorting. Pokémon that didn't exist or that did but was different than usual.

"Could it be," I mutter, my eyes widen as the tear grows, "a space-time disorder?"

I've heard of them but never actually experienced one before. It is wonderful! There is so much happening in there that is waiting to be researched and explained! I take a step forward, but then lightning strikes the ground, the loud CLAP scaring the trio behind me. They run start running around and making noises frantically.

"Calm down," I shout over all the commotion. My yelling doen't do anything, though, as the three Pokémon run away and hide. I'm about to chase them when I notice a figure in the distortion. I squint my eyes but no matter how hard I try I can't tell what it is. I watch as it drops to the ground, landing head first into the sand. I sprint over to it.

As I approach, I see it was a person. He has long brown hair that is sprawled out across the sand. His fashion is strange, wearing all black. Black jacket, black jeans, black T-shirt. All black. He does have some interesting accessories, however. He's wearing a necklace that has a a rainbow orb with the symbol of a DNA strand. On his right wrist he wears a thick bracelet that has a diamond-ish hole in it, I'm assuming to place something into it. Lastly, and most intriguingly, on his right wrist is a Dynamax Band, something from my home region.

"Hmm," I hum lowly, studdying him closer. The man's eyes tighten lightly. "You're alive," I exclaim, shocked. Nobody should have been able to survive a fall from that height, especially on the head. I shake him lightly.

He groans and rubs his head, his eyes closing tighter. "Dropping me on the head ain't gonna make me forget," he mutters. When he opens his eyes, his body jolts with surprise. "Who are you," he shouts.

"I'm Professor Laventon," I reply, standing up and offering him a hand with a smile. "You?"

"Izzy," he replies, taking my hand and gets up. He looks around. "Where am I?"

"Hisui, of coarse," I say with a chuckle. The stranger looks back at me, an eyebrow raised. "Where?"
