I let out an exhausted sigh as I try to get comfortable enough for sleep on Char's back. Char growls back at me, questioning with concern.

"I'm fine," I mumble, laying my arm over my eyes, sighing again. "I'm more worried about you. You've had to fly all night for a week. It's it too much on you?"

Char growls back at me confidently. I chuckle lightly. "Yeah, you're right. Dumb of me to question your strength." Char nods and growl again.

Again, I sigh heavily (I've been doing that a lot lately) and roll onto my stomache, looking down at the city below us. Every light is on, every person is out, and the Malamars are controlling everybody. Even in the bright night city you can see the Malamar's lights.

Slowly, my vision start to blur as my eyes gently droop. I yawn, bending up a bit. As I lay back down, sleep hits me like a Double Edge, knocking me out instantly. Instead of dreaming, I remember the last week.

I travel through the streets, smiling and waiving at everyone that passes. That's the friendly thing to do, which is what the Malamars make us do. I pass a Mega Malamar, which is watching everyone like a Decidueye. It takes everything in me not to react. I continue to walk, smiling and nodding as I walk past.

The Mega Malamar continues to eye me, but let me pass. Once behind it, I push my sunglasses further up my nose, making sure there is no chance my eyes are exposed. Not only do the sunglasses make me look cool (well, cooler than I already look, anyways), they protect me from the Malamar lights, both Mega and normal.

Let me correct that, they don't protect me from the lights. Not completely, anyways. They delay the lights from reaching my eyes, slowing the spell. It give me time to move my eyes away (and thanks to the sunglasses, they can't see my eye movement) and recollect myself. I don't think the Malamars know about this trick, because they haven't seemed to notice.

I'm just lucky they don't go around grabbing random people. I've been pretending to be hypnotized to avoid suspicion. They don't attack people they already own, but if they did for security, and they dangled me upside, my shades would fall off and I'd be done.

I turn the corner, checking the surroundings. I growl lowly. People were there. Mindless servants of Mega Malamar are in my abandoned warehouse! I planned on using it to hide out. I thought it was an unknown place.

My eyes widen as I peer into the window. They have all my studies and evidence in a pile. One of them lights a match.

"No," I exclaim quietly. They throw the match down, lighting it all up. I sneak to the side of the building as the people exit the house, smiling and laughing. Once they're gone, I walk to the doorway, staring at the pile of hard work in flames.

Some of the embers fly over to the curtains, catching them on fire, too. I gasp as the fire spreads further around the room. In the blink of an eye, the entire place is ablaze. I get quickly dash away from the building, looking back one last time as my last hope turns to ashes.

I walk back onto the main street, looking around to ensure nobody notices me. I look up at the sky. The sun is setting. I smile to myself. I'll finally get to rest. Take a break from this nightmare.

An hour goes by. Nobody is settling down. They're still walking around and praising Malamar. I'm sure it will calm down soon.

Two hours. I am exhausted! No one else seems tired. Every time I start to drift off, the Malamars start to stare at me. I have to be constantly moving to stay awake. It'll be fine soon.

Fivr hours. They don't sleep. It's official. They do nothing but smile and praise Malamar. I can't keep this up. I sneak into an empty ally and release Char. It growls quietly at me.

"I'm sorry, but can I sleep on your back while you fly," I ask, a yawn escaping me as I talk. Char nods and bends down for me. "Thank you," I mutter as I get on. Char spreads its wings and take off into the sky.

It's been like this ever since. I walk the streets at day, pretending to be hypnotized. At night, I sleep on Char's back. So far it's been working.

Back to present

I only slept for about an hour before I was woken up by a BOOM from somewhere below. I jerk awake.

"What was that," I ask, panicked and looking around. Char growled and gestured its head to the ground.

I look down and see someone with a Delphox duking it with some Mega Malamar.

"Bad choice of Pokémon," I mutter. "Huge type disadvantage."

"Fire Blast," the person below commands. The Delphox swirls its wand and unleashes a giant ball of flames. It hits all the Mega Malamars, deactivating the Mega Evolution.

"Oh," I exclaim with interest. "That's strong."

The Delphox and person were panting heavily, obviously exhausted from running and fighting. Unfortunately for them, more Mega Malamars come in, with time with a crowd of people as well, all ready to fight.

"This is the end for them," I mutter, watching them get surrounded easily. I contemplate for a second then sigh. "We can't let this happen. Think you can make it down there in time?"

Char roles its eyes and scoffs arrogantly. I chuckle. "Again. Dumb of me to question you," I say, gripping Char tightly. It dives down with immense speed.

"Grab me," I shout once in the person's hearing, reaching my hand out. It takes a second for them to understand what's happening, but they quickly return their Delphox and grab my wrist.

I pull them up quickly, seating them behind Char.

"Thank you," they say breathlessly.

"No problem," I respond, turning and smiling at them. "I'm Hades. You?"

@UnovanZorua Is it ok if it's you?

If not that's fine. I'll just make a character.

If yes, what gender, personality, and appearance do you want?
