Who's the real antagonist in Pokemon Legends Z-A?
I always suspect Quasartico being the real villains despite the last minute introduction of the Rust Syndicate.

Given the way the last few games handled antagonists, I am guessing either there will be no "evil" team, just a misunderstanding, or only the leaders of the group will have ill intent and the rank and file members will be unaware and innocent.
From the sound of it, the game's premise does not require an evil team but then it does beg the question what MZ protect the city from, exactly. Wild Pokémon? Petty crime? Wolves? They were a big problem in Paris at one point.

The rust syndicate is giving off evil vibes, but quasartico could still easily have an evil role

Isn't French vanilla Ganondorf dead? I guess we never saw a corpse, but in the modern media landscape, characters even come back from disintegration, so I suppose that would be no guarantee.
