Yeah until people didn't write a part and the project stalled.

It took time sometimes but it would work better to just remind them, not have a repeat. Otherwise, we can't see everyone's work

Yeah I agree it does work well to remind them, which is what happened. The people supposed to write the third elite 4 were reminded but never wrote it and the project stalled. Replacements were found but a similar story happened, stalled again. After the third time I figured it was going nowhere so I took care of it so that the people who committed to writing the later parts can actually contribute and maybe even new people can come and write rather than just waiting on a singular part to be written.
The idea behind this forum story thing is a great idea, getting unique writers for every part, but planning for the event of a writer being a no show was not adequately planned out. What should have happened is that the creator should have given the writer doing the next one this part and shuffled who is doing what or gotten a writer to volunteer or something, basically get later writers to do the earlier parts so that if the project stalls it can move ahead without much issues. Another solution is getting a writer to do two parts, there wouldn't be a major impact as it would only be a single part and the other writers can keep writing their parts but it shouldn't have gotten to that.
This forum story had poor contingency planning.

I get where you're coming from, but you probably should've asked about continuing the story first before just taking matters into your own hands.

I did, and you can tell what the answer was.

And it took months, bad planning.

So there was another very long delay, man with your next project you really need to plan it better or else that half a year hiatus will turn into a year long and possibly a project abandonment.
And remind me to never participate in your projects.
