Stop telling me to play Pal Pad!!

Missions to use a certain specific card suck… Missions to use a specific Pokemon suck… Missions to use a certain type, suck… Missions should not be based on such things…
I shouldn't have to change my deck at all in any way in order to be able to complete a Mission.
Missions should be things, like… do over this amount of Damage in a single hit… and attach this many Energy Cards… and switch your Pokemon this number of times (that's fine because there's plenty of different kinds of cards that switch, it's not telling you one specific card and basically every deck plays, or should play, at least one switching card.)

I agree 100% about the Pal Pad Quest being problematic, but I am not so sure about type specific Quests being a problem.

As a player, I agree that having to select certain decks for a specific Quest is not what I want. But, I believe that game designers uses Daily Quests to encourage people to play different formats & game modes. These difference viewpoints about Quests creates tension. There are certainly different ways to resolve these tensions.

In my opinion, a balanced approach would include the more generic Quests like you prefer. I would also include type specific mission & playing different game modes such as Trainer Trials.

I do not think that Quests should ever be as specific as play a certain card such as Pal Pad. And I found the Eevee Quests to be intolerable.

Another issue to Daily Quests is how much time can I (or do I want) to put into Pokemon in a day. Quests are limiting my choices as to what deck I can play. But I may not have enough time finish the Quests plus play the deck that I want.

I make a certain deck or a certain few decks and then I play them… basically I only have good Cards for the Water, Grass and Psychic types… I can't even make an effective Dark or Steel deck… so I hate it that they keep telling me to play those types.

You can reset each challenge once a day. It doesn't completely solve things, but it does help a bit.

Yes, but unfortunately, the follow a theme, lol. I'll reset one that wants me to use Steel Types and it becomes one that wants me to attach Steel Energy, which doesn't help, lol.

Personally I liked the Pal Pad quest. It encouraged players to try out Trainer Trials, and in both formats so far Pal Pad was a great card.

Worst than that is the quest that forces you to play in the trials mode.

For real… nothing makes me want to play that less than being forced to, lol.
