I have a comment about my top 5 favorite Pokémon and what I know of their negative fandom reputations…but it's still going through approval. I spent a while writing it so I'd be devastated if it doesn't go through, yeah I'm getting worried.

I for one, never got that one. Gen 1 had a Pokémon that was just a seal, there's always been a Pokémon in every region that's "just a ___", frankly, it's a great design for being based off of a trash bag without leaning into 'this is supposed to be a trash bag?' designs I tend to see with stuff like this (not Pokémon Designs though)

For me, it's Iron Moth. Futuristic sleekness with a big helping of those geometric floating blade arrays that I love.

Iron Moth is a Future Paradox, and I'm too familiar with all the hate Future Paradoxes (Bundle, Valiant and Serpent/Miraidon notwithstanding) get for not being as cool-looking as the Ancient Paradoxes. Sure, the Future Paradoxes don't look as interesting from still images, but when you see them move in real time you might be intrigued by how they move and behave in and out of battle.

    Klefki.

Francois (my Klefki) has stolen the Leftovers off of a Groudon during a Ranked Match in SV.

I know that in the darker side of the Pokémon fandom, Gardevoir has kind of an…inappropriate connotation. I completely despise and protest against this. Also from what I read from the talk part of Chandelure's Wikipedia page, some people mentioned how it "didn't see much love" or "got some hate". And your "all the fossils" line aligns with Armaldo. I also don't exactly know how popular Leavanny is in the fandom, and when I asked my younger brother if he thought the list of my top 5 favorites made me rather "unique" or something and he was like "Yeah, and you're probably one of the only people who have Leavanny in their top 3" or something. On the other hand, I've only seen and heard good things about Goodra, but I guess that's a given since it's a pseudo-legendary, so yeah.

incineroar, which, to be fair, it’s a heel Pokemon which, if you didn’t know, a heel in fake wrestling is a character that’s purposefully supposed to be boo’d by the audience.

I love Klefki too. There's some charm to just a key ring.

Yes. And if only I had the time, I'd make another really long and detailed comment about how people hate Delphox for no real reason and how underrated it is and how Delphox and Chesnaught are barely ever mentioned compared to Greninja (especially in official things). But that would take me over an hour.
