How close is everyone to completing the National Pokédex?

Just wanted to make a discussion, and that was a random topic that came to mind. As for me, I'm at 1,014 Pokémon, and all 11 that I'm missing are Mythical Pokémon.

I am probably closer than I think, although Pokemon doesn't care anymore cause they removed it from the games.

Well, there's Pokémon HOME, which I use to keep track of mine. That's always an option if you want to find out.

I know you can do it if you try! Just know that it's taken me five years to get this far, it's not like I did it overnight! Just two or three games and some trades in HOME should be enough to get you at least 70-80% of the Pokémon. Additionally, several games have a feature that allows you to find Legendary Pokémon from other games, which is also really helpful! As for Mythical Pokémon, just be on the lookout for events. You never know when they'll make one available! Good luck, and happy catching!

Very far from completing it. I don't think I'll ever try to finish it since it seems exhausting and time-consuming.
The only regional Pokédex I've ever gotten close to finishing is PLA's (I think around 5 mons are left, all found in time-space distortions). And I have all Pokémon in BDSP registered as at least seen because I wanted to see Sinnoh's postgame for the first time.

In pokemon Ultra Sun I started collecting the national pokedex and actually came pretty far. I had all of kalos and alola, and had most of the pokemon in between. Just missing a the hard to find ones. Now I'm thinking of starting it back up again in the next new game. It was a fun challenge.
