New avatars

When are we getting new avatars for our profiles? I joined a long time ago, and they had the pokemon unite avatars, but I didn't know how to change my avatar. Then they added gen 1, I was away for about a year, then they added gen 2. When are we getting gen 3? Please let me know if you know.

    It’s probably been a year since we got gen 2 since I think they were added right before I joined which was Jan 18 so I really have no clue

    It would be nice to get new avatars but I would also like for the unite avatars to be up cause my avatar is literally unobtainable now.

    If we can't have custom avatars (which are usually not permitted on child friendly forums for obvious reasons) I would say that they should provide the widest selection of preset avatars possible.

    I do not know how many options the forum software permits, but as I suggested back when we were limited to the Unite avatars exclusively, they should at least make every Pokémon available. They already have the art for the Pokédex pages to hand.

    I would also be fine with Unite avatars returning. Perhaps art of the human characters from the games/anime, too. TCG cards are also a source of considerable artwork.

    I am not sure how the rights work for different parts of the franchise (who owns the TCG art and the anime?) but I am sure they could do something.
