Buddy-Buddy Poffin used but I can't select my pidgey

I used a Buddy-Buddy Poffin turn 2, and my pidgey was highlighted blue with the little arrow underneath but I could not drag it or click it to summon it. I had 2 other basic pokemon available to choose, Charmander and Duskull and I was able to select them without trouble

    Hello, I'am having the same issue with buddy buddy poffin but it's doing it with other pokemon as well. Can this be fixed?
