You've been here long enough to know that XY and BW cards aren't playable. You don't need to read the whole rulebook for that. And the problem is that you constantly make random assumptions like this. If you don't know an answer, just don't post. Nobody is forcing you to post.
I feel like you're not going to listen just because you like speculation, so I'm gonna ruin it for you: TPCi gives a reason every time they ban a card. You don't need to speculate on why. If you can't find a stated reason for a card being banned, that means it wasn't banned.

Yes, I see your points, and I agree with them. I should have thought more before posting that reply. I apologize for spreading misinformation. I do know that BW and XY cards aren't playable. My reasoning still makes sense, I just didn't think about the fact that earlier released cards weren't allowed. I thought I had a good answer so I posted it. Turns out I should've thought more. But I also stand by the fact that you don't have to be so cynical when correcting someone. Sometimes that can just put them on the aggressive, and can hurt more than help. I will try to be more thoughtful when posting in the future.
