Blurry screen after opening the game
Almost instantly after I open the game, the whole screen gets blurry and it shows an unreadable textbox. When i try to click it, the game tries to reload from start, but less than a second later the screen gets blurry again.
Tried restarting my PC, repairing the install, completely uninstalling and reinstalling… No changes at all.

I'm having this same issue. Can we be told a fix that doesn't require contacting TPC privately, please? Since this has happened to multiple people, a public solution would be nice.
EDITED TO ADD: I searched a little more on Google and found another thread on here about the same issue ( https://community.pokemon.com/en-us/discussion/14339/cannot-launch-the-app-on-windows#latest ) and the stated solution that worked for both the original poster of the thread as well as me is changing the language settings for non-unicode programs, which requires going into your control panel, going to "Region," then the Administrative tab, and clicking the second option. You'll need to reboot your PC after this for it to take effect but it works!0
